Ingredients:
| INGREDIENTS | AMOUNT |
| All-purpose flour | 1 3/4 cups |
| White sugar | 1/4 cup |
| Baking powder | 2 1/2 teaspoons |
| Salt | 3/4 teaspoon |
| Shredded Cheddar cheese | 1 cup |
| Egg, beaten | 1 |

| Vegetable oil | 1/3 cup |
How To Make Cheddar Cheese Quick Bread:
Step 1: Prep the Pan and Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick cooking spray to ensure the bread releases easily after baking.

Step 2: Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the 1 3/4 cups of flour, 1/4 cup of sugar, 2 1/2 tsp of baking powder, and 3/4 tsp of salt. Stir in the 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese so the shreds are coated in flour (this prevents them from sinking). In a separate bowl, beat together the 1 egg, 3/4 cup of milk, and 1/3 cup of vegetable oil.

Step 3: Combine and Pour: Gently stir the flour and cheese mixture into the liquid ingredients. Mix until the batter is just moistened—be careful not to overmix, or the bread will be tough. Pour the thick batter into your prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Step 4: Bake: Bake for 35 minutes. To check for doneness, insert a toothpick into the center of the loaf; it should come out clean.
Step 5: Cool and Slice: Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.2 For the best slices, allow it to cool almost completely before cutting.
