Instructions:
- Prepare pan: Line a 9×13 baking dish with aluminum foil and coat with nonstick cooking spray.
- Make chocolate layer: Combine chocolate chips, 1/3 cup peanut butter, and butterscotch or peanut butter chips in a microwave-safe dish. Melt in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Pour half into the prepared pan and refrigerate.
- Make marshmallow layer: In a saucepan, combine butter, sugar, and evaporated milk. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Combine remaining peanut butter, marshmallow cream, vanilla, and chopped peanuts.
- Assemble: Pour marshmallow mixture over the chocolate layer in the pan. Refrigerate.
- Make caramel layer: Melt caramels with 1 tablespoon water in a microwave-safe dish. Stir until smooth. Add remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter.
- Finish: Pour caramel layer over marshmallow layer. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into 1-inch pieces.
