Chinese Pepper Steak with Onion

Ingredients:

Beef sirloin, thinly sliced 1 pound
Soy sauce 2 tablespoons
Cornstarch 1 tablespoon
Vegetable oil 2 tablespoons
Large onion, sliced 1
Green bell pepper, sliced 1
Red bell pepper, sliced 1
Garlic, minced 2 cloves
Oyster sauce 1 tablespoon
Sugar 1 teaspoon
Black pepper ½ teaspoon
Beef broth ¼ cup

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the 1 pound of thinly sliced beef, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Toss to coat the beef evenly and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
  2. Stir-Fry the Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until it’s browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
