Ingredients:
Ingredient | Quantity |
---|---|
Crescent roll dough | 2 cans (8 oz each) |
Cream cheese | 2 packages (8 oz each), softened |
Granulated sugar | 1 cup, divided |
Vanilla extract | 1 teaspoon |
Unsalted butter | 1/4 cup, melted |
Ground cinnamon | 1 teaspoon |
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Use one can of crescent roll dough to create a bottom layer in the dish, pressing down any seams.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer.
- Unroll the remaining can of dough and place it on top of the cheesecake filling, pressing the edges to seal.
- Brush the melted butter over the top layer of dough. In a small bowl, combine the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar with the cinnamon, then sprinkle this mixture over the butter.
- Bake the casserole for 30-35 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the filling is set. Let the casserole cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
