This creamy and cheesy corn casserole is a simple yet delicious side dish that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Cream cheese 1 (8 oz) package, softened and cubed
Butter 4 tablespoons
Milk 1/3 cup
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper 1/4 teaspoon
Frozen corn 1 (18 oz) bag, thawed
Cayenne pepper (optional) 1/4 teaspoon
Sharp cheddar cheese 1 cup, grated

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 2-quart baking dish.
  2. In a medium pot over low heat, combine the softened and cubed cream cheese and butter. Stir continuously until both are melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour in the milk and stir until the mixture is consistently smooth.
  4. Add the salt, black pepper, thawed frozen corn, and cayenne pepper (if you are using it for a little heat) to the pot. Stir everything together to combine.
  5. Pour the corn mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the grated sharp cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the corn mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until the casserole is golden brown and bubbly, which should take approximately 20 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
