All-purpose flour | ½ cup |
Eggs, beaten | 2 |
Breadcrumbs | 1.25 cups |
Grated Parmesan cheese | ½ cup |
Garlic powder | 1 teaspoon |
Paprika | ½ teaspoon |
Salt & pepper | To taste |
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Pound each chicken breast thin (about ¼ inch) between plastic wrap.
- Lay a slice of Swiss cheese and ham on each chicken breast. Roll them up tightly and secure with toothpicks if needed.
- Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken roll in flour, then dip in the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated. Finally, roll in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently for a good coating. Place the breaded rolls in the baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the breading is golden brown.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
- Enjoy hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh green salad.
