| Sugar | 1 tbsp |

| Water/beef broth | 1 cup (240ml) |

| Thyme | 1 tsp | 
| Flour | 2 tbsp | 
| Oil | 2 tbsp | 
Instructions:
MAKING THE DOUGH:
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Add butter and rub it with the flour until you get a crumbly texture.
- Beat 2 eggs and add them to the flour mixture, mix until the dough is formed. Cover for 30 minutes.
MAKING THE FILLING:
- In a large pan, heat oil. Add onion and sauté for 5-6 minutes.
- Add the ground meat and fry for 4-5 minutes.
- Add the diced carrots, season with salt, pepper, thyme, and flour.
- Divide the dough into 8 pieces. Roll out the dough to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut out a round shape with your desired size.
- Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the meat mixture in the center and fold over the dough using the meat pie cutter or you can fold and use a fork to seal the edge.
- Poke the pies with a fork to create a steam outlet.
- Brush the pies with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden.
