- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and place cupcake liners in a muffin tin.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and orange zest until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and orange juice.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fill cupcake liners about two-thirds full with the batter and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
