Homemade dessert that I never get tired of eating!

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Milk 750 ml
Sugar 135 grams
Egg Yolks 9
Vanilla Extract 2 teaspoons
Cornstarch 2 tablespoons
Milk (for dissolving cornstarch) 20 ml
Cinnamon Powder 1 tablespoon

Prepare Caramel:

  1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat 75 g of sugar over medium heat until it melts and turns a deep amber color. Stir constantly.
  2. Quickly pour caramel into individual pudding molds or ramekins.

Make Pudding Mixture:

  1. In a large saucepan, heat 750 ml of milk over medium heat until steaming, but not boiling.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together egg yolks and remaining 60 g of sugar until pale and thickened.
  3. Dissolve cornstarch in 20 ml of milk.
  4. Gradually pour warm milk into egg yolk mixture, whisking constantly.
  5. Add cornstarch mixture and cinnamon powder to saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (5-7 minutes).
  6. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

Assemble and Chill:

  1. Pour pudding mixture into caramel-coated molds.
  2. Cover molds with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

Serve:

  1. Unmold pudding onto a plate.
  2. Garnish with cinnamon, whipped cream, or fresh berries (optional).
