Cold whip | 1 container (8 ounces) |
Roasted almond slices (optional) | 1 tablespoon |
Instructions:
- Cut the angel food cake into cubes and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together the pudding mix, milk, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Set aside.
- In a 13 x 9 baking dish, layer half of the cake cubes in the bottom of the pan.
- Top the cake cubes with half of the cherry pie filling.
- Repeat the cake layer.
- Pour the pudding mixture over the cake and spread it evenly.
- Spoon the cold whip over the pudding layer.
- Place the remaining cherry pie filling on top.
