Slow Cooker Ravioli Lasagna
Ingredients:
Ingredient | Quantity |
---|---|
Frozen cheese ravioli | 1 bag (25 oz) |
Ground beef or Italian sausage | 1 pound, browned and drained |
Marinara sauce | 1 jar (24 oz) |
Diced tomatoes | 1 can (14.5 oz), drained |
Italian seasoning | 1 teaspoon |
Mozzarella cheese | 2 cups, shredded |
Parmesan cheese | 1 cup, grated |
Fresh basil leaves (optional) | For garnish |
Instructions:
- Brown and drain the ground beef or Italian sausage.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Add a layer of frozen ravioli, covering the sauce as much as possible.
- Top with some browned meat, sprinkle with Italian seasoning, and add some diced tomatoes.
- Generously sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the meat and tomato layer.
- Repeat steps 3-5, using all the ingredients and finishing with a cheese layer on top.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is bubbling.
- Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes after turning it off. This allows it to set slightly for easier serving.
- Serve hot with a sprinkle of fresh basil leaves, if desired.
