Baked Sausage and Pepper Jack Wontons

Ingredients:

Green onions, chopped | 1/4 cup |
Red bell pepper, finely chopped | 1/4 cup |
Garlic powder | 1 teaspoon |
Onion powder | 1 teaspoon |
Salt and pepper | To taste |
Egg, beaten | 1 |
Cooking spray | As needed |
Instructions:
- Preheat oven: Set oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook sausage: Brown ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease and let cool.
- Prepare filling: Combine cooled sausage, Pepper Jack cheese, green onions, red bell pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
- Assemble wontons: Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon 1 tablespoon of filling into the center. Brush edges with beaten egg. Bring corners together to form a pouch and seal tightly.
- Bake wontons: Place sealed wontons on prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray tops with cooking spray.
