How To Make Garlic Butter Beef Pasta:

Step 3: Cook Pasta: Add 2 cups chicken broth, 1 cup heavy cream, and 8 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine), stirring to submerge the pasta in the liquid. Bring the mixture to a low simmer, then cover and cook on low until the pasta is tender and most liquid has absorbed, stirring occasionally (about 10 minutes). Check every so often to make sure there is enough liquid. Add more chicken broth or water as needed if the pan looks dry.
Step 4: Finish and Serve: Stir in 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, and season to taste with additional salt and pepper. Serve immediately with fresh chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese, if desired.
