Ingredients:

Ingredients Quantity
Non-stick Cooking Spray (like PAM) As needed
Pie Filling 1 can for an 8″ x 8″ pan OR 2 cans for a 9″ x 13″ pan
Jiffy Golden Yellow Cake Mix 1 box for an 8″ x 8″ pan OR 2 boxes for a 9″ x 13″ pan
Butter 1/2 – 3/4 stick
Sugar To taste
Cinnamon To taste

Instructions:

  1. Begin by spraying the inside of the baking dish thoroughly with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Next, empty the Pie Filling into the baking dish and spread it evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the Golden Yellow Cake Mix over the top of the Pie Filling, ensuring an even distribution. It’s essential not to add any ingredients to the cake mix; use it in its dry form.
  4. Cut thin slices (pats) of butter and place them over the entire top of the dry cake mix, leaving small spaces between each pat.
  5. Sprinkle sugar over the entire top for that sweet, caramelized touch.
  6. Follow up with a generous sprinkling of ground Cinnamon to add a delightful hint of spice.
  7. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and bake your cobbler for 25-35 minutes. A rule of thumb is to rely on your nose – when it smells good enough to eat, it’s usually ready. Keep an eye out for that golden brown color.
  8. Once out of the oven, allow your FRUIT COBBLER to cool slightly. It’s best served warm, and if you’re feeling extra indulgent, top it with a scoop of ice cream.
