Custard Donuts

Sometimes the most delicious ideas come from trying not to waste food.
In my house, sweets rarely get a chance to go stale — they disappear too fast! But somehow, a few donuts ended up forgotten in the fridge, a little too firm to enjoy as-is.
Normally, I’d pop them in the microwave for a few seconds and call it a day. But this time, I wanted to try something different. Inspired by a recipe from Pasen y Disgusten, I turned those leftover donuts into a rich, creamy custard. And let me tell you — it was worth every spoonful.

Warning: This dessert isn’t exactly diet-friendly, but if you’re a donut lover, it’s a treat you won’t regret.
