Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips

This recipe provides a simple and delicious way to make healthy and satisfying banana chips at home.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Ripe but Firm Bananas, peeled and thinly sliced 2
Coconut Oil or Melted Butter 1 tablespoon
Granulated Sugar (or Coconut Sugar) 1 tablespoon
Ground Cinnamon ½ teaspoon

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them into thin rounds (about ⅛-inch thick).
  2. Coat with Cinnamon-Sugar:
    • In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
    • Toss the banana slices with coconut oil or melted butter.
    • Sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Air Fry:
    • Place the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
    • Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
    • Watch closely towards the end to prevent burning.
  5. Cool and Serve:
    • Transfer the banana chips to a wire rack to cool completely. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
    • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
