Ingredients:
Ingredient | Quantity |
Chicken Breast | 2 breasts |
Pasta (such as rotini, penne, or bow tie) | 8 ounces |
Romaine Lettuce, chopped | 1 head |
Cherry Tomatoes, halved | 1 cup |
Shaved or grated Parmesan Cheese | 1/2 cup |
Caesar Dressing | 1/2 cup |
Salt, pepper, and herbs | To taste |
How To Make Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad:
- Step 1: Cook the Pasta: Follow the instructions on the package to cook the 8 ounces of pasta until al dente. Once cooked, drain and rinse the pasta under cold water to stop the cooking process and cool it down. Set aside.
- Step 2: Grill the Chicken: Season the 2 chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs and spices. Grill or cook the chicken until it is cooked through (internal temperature of 165∘F/74∘C). Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- Step 3: Prepare the Salad Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled cooked pasta, the sliced grilled chicken, the chopped romaine lettuce, the 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes, and the 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.
- Step 4: Add the Dressing: Pour the 1/2 cup Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all the ingredients evenly.
- Step 5: Serve and Enjoy: Transfer the salad to a serving dish and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve immediately.
