Candied Kielbasa Bites
Ingredients:

| Kielbasa sausage | 2 pounds |
| Brown sugar | 1 cup |
| Ketchup | 1/2 cup |
| Prepared horseradish | 1/4 cup |
How to Make Candied Kielbasa Bites:
Step 1: Preheat and Slice: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Slice the 2 lbs of kielbasa into 1-inch thick pieces.

Step 2: Hasselback Technique: Place each 1-inch kielbasa piece between two chopsticks or wooden skewers. Slice the piece into 1/4-inch sections, allowing the chopsticks to stop your knife so you don’t cut all the way through. Each bite should have about three sections that are still connected at the bottom.

Step 3: Season: Place the sliced kielbasa into a baking dish. Add the 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup ketchup, and 1/4 cup prepared horseradish. Stir everything together until the sausage is well coated.
Step 4: Bake and Caramelize: Bake the bites for 60–90 minutes. Stir the mixture every 20 minutes to ensure the sauce caramelizes evenly and the edges of the sausage brown. The longer they cook, the crispier and stickier they will become.
Step 5: Serve: Serve warm, perhaps with toothpicks for easy grabbing!
