Ingredients:
Instructions:
- Prepare the Base: In a large bowl, add the 2 (8 oz) packages of softened cream cheese and 1 ½ cups powdered sugar. Mix with a hand mixer or spatula until the mixture is light and well combined. Add the 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Mix until the dip is smooth.
- Add Whipped Topping & Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the 1 (8 oz) tub of thawed whipped topping and 1 ½ cups mini chocolate chips until they are just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can deflate the whipped topping.
- Assemble & Chill: Transfer the dip to a pie dish or an 8×8-inch baking dish and spread it out to the edges to create a flat, even surface. Pour the 1 (7 oz) bottle of magic shell over the top. Use the back of a spoon to gently spread it into a thin, even layer that covers the entire surface. Refrigerate the dip for 30-40 minutes before serving to allow the chocolate shell to set and harden.
- Serve: Serve the chilled Buckeye Dip with pretzels, Nilla wafers, or sliced fruit for dipping.
Enjoy this delicious and fun dessert!
