Ingredients:
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven & Prepare Garlic Butter: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and finely minced garlic. Set aside.
- Prepare Dough: Unroll the prepared pizza crust dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush with Garlic Butter: Evenly brush the entire surface of the pizza dough with the garlic butter mixture.
- Add Cheese and Spices: Sprinkle the grated mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and dried basil evenly over the buttered dough. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cut into Strips (Do Not Separate): Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into stick shapes. For example, cut lengthwise into 7 long strips and then crosswise into 3 shorter strips to create individual breadstick sizes. Do not separate the strips at this point; leave them connected on the baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the breadsticks are light golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Recut and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven. Recut along each pre-scored strip to fully separate the breadsticks. Carefully remove them from the cooking sheet. Serve the breadsticks warm, ideally with marinara sauce for dipping.
