Ingredients (Meatloaf)

Whole milk 2/3 cup
Ritz crackers, crushed 25
Large onion, diced 1
Sharp cheddar cheese, shredded 1/2 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Pepper 1/4 tsp
Ground beef 1/1/2 lbs

Ketchup 1/2 cup
Brown sugar 1/2 cup
Mustard 1 tsp

How To Make Cracker Barrel Meatloaf:

Step 1: Preheat and Prep Egg Base: Preheat the oven to 350F (175°C). In a medium bowl, add the 2 eggs and beat them. Add the 2/3 cup milk and 25 crushed Ritz crackers to the beaten eggs.

Step 2: Add Fillers: Add the 1 diced onion and 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese to the egg mixture and stir to combine. Season this mixture with 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper.

Step 3: Combine with Meat: Add the 1 1/2 lbs ground beef to the egg mixture. Using your hands, mix the meat and egg mixture until well combined, being careful not to overmix.

Step 4: Bake (Initial): Spray an 8×8 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Mold the beef mixture into the baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes or until the meatloaf is mostly cooked through.

Step 5: Prepare Glaze: In a small bowl, combine the 1/2 cup ketchup, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1 tsp mustard. Mix well to create the topping glaze.

Step 6: First Glaze: Pour half of the topping glaze over the meatloaf after the initial 45 minutes of baking and spread it evenly. Return the meatloaf to the oven for 15 minutes.

Step 7: Second Glaze and Finish: Pour the rest of the topping glaze over the meatloaf and spread it evenly. Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for a final 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F (75°C).
