Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus Bites

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet or shallow ceramic dish with parchment or lightly grease for easy cleanup.
  2. Rinse asparagus and pat dry. Trim woody ends by snapping or cutting 1–2 inches from the bottom.
  3. Cut bacon slices in half crosswise.
  4. Gather 3–4 asparagus spears into a bundle. Wrap with half a slice of bacon in a spiral, ending underneath to secure. Repeat with remaining asparagus and bacon.
  5. Arrange bundles in a single layer on the prepared dish, leaving space between each.
  6. Bake 18–25 minutes, until bacon is browned and crisp and asparagus tips are lightly charred. Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end if you like extra-crispy bacon.
  7. Rest 3–5 minutes in the hot dish, then transfer to a serving platter or serve family-style straight from the dish. Enjoy warm while the bacon is at its crispiest.
