Nutmeg ½ teaspoon
Cornstarch 1 tablespoon
Caramel sauce ½ cup

How To Make Apple Cinnamon Lasagna Roll

  1. Preheat Oven & Prep Apples: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray an 8×8-inch glass or ceramic baking dish with nonstick spray. In a bowl, mix the 4 peeled and diced large apples with the ½ cup of sugar, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and ½ teaspoon of nutmeg until the apple cubes are evenly coated.
  2. Prepare Cinnamon Roll Dough: Unroll the cinnamon roll dough and cut the rolls into ½-inch strips. On a floured work surface, roll out each strip until it is fluffy and thin. Use flour as needed to prevent sticking.
  3. Assemble the Layers: Arrange the first layer of flattened cinnamon roll dough on the bottom and sides of the prepared baking dish. Press the dough with your hands to seal it well. Spread half of the apple mixture over the dough layer and drizzle 2-3 tablespoons of caramel sauce on top. Cover with another layer of cinnamon roll dough strips. Spread the remaining apple mixture and pour more caramel sauce on top. Cover with the remaining flattened cinnamon roll dough.
  4. Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the aluminum foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  5. Cool & Serve: Leave the dish to cool for at least 30 minutes. Drizzle the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls over the top before slicing and serving.

Enjoy this sweet and warm dessert!
