Parmesan meatloaf is a classic comfort food recipe with a cheesy twist. It’s a hearty dish made with ground beef, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese, topped with a tangy marinara sauce. This recipe is easy to follow and perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Meatloaf
Lean ground beef 1 pound
Lean ground turkey (optional) 1 pound
Eggs 2 large
Breadcrumbs 1/4 cup
Dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon
Dried basil 1/2 teaspoon
Dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon
Garlic, minced 1-2 cloves
Onion, minced 1 small
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Pepper 1/4 teaspoon
Grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup
Marinara sauce 1/2 cup
Italian cheese mix 1/2 cup (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, turkey (if using), eggs, breadcrumbs, oregano, basil, thyme, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well with your hands until everything is evenly combined. Don’t overmix.
  3. Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape in a greased loaf pan.
  4. Top the meatloaf with 1/2 cup of marinara sauce.
  5. Bake the meatloaf for 45-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit (70 degrees Celsius).
  6. In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle the top of the meatloaf with Italian cheese mix (optional).
  7. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
