A Family Affair: Nicole Kidman Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

The 49th AFI Lifetime Achievement Award Gala became a family celebration for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. For the first time ever, their teenage daughters, Sunday Rose (15) and Faith Margaret (13), joined them on the red carpet alongside Kidman’s sister, brother-in-law, nieces, and nephew.

The evening honored Kidman’s extensive career, with Meryl Streep and Urban offering tributes before her acceptance speech. Urban, reflecting on their family life, commented on their commitment to creating a strong family unit: “We both come from families of four, so we try to do the same for our girls. We turn every filming location into a home.”

Kidman, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to produce films, stated, “It’s been a privilege to collaborate with such talented storytellers who allowed me to explore different characters and express myself freely.
