Ingredients:

Chocolate cake mix 1 box
Unsalted butter, melted ½ cup
Large eggs 3
Cream cheese, softened 8 oz
Creamy peanut butter 1 cup
Powdered sugar 3 ¾ cups
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Semi-sweet chocolate chips ½ cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat and Prep:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Make the Cake Base:

    • In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix well and press the batter evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Whip Up the Gooey Mixture:

    • In another bowl, cream together the softened cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth.
    • Beat in the remaining 2 eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is well combined and creamy.
  4. Assemble and Bake:

    • Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cake base in the pan, spreading it into an even layer.
    • Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips over the top.
  5. Bake to Gooey Perfection:
