Ingredients:
Ingredients | Quantity |
---|---|
Milk Chocolate | 2 x 200 grams |
Condensed Milk | 1 Tin (395 grams) |
Baileys Irish Cream | 1-2 Shot Glasses |
Maltesers | 1 Packet |
Vanilla Essence | 1 Teaspoon |
Instructions:
- Prepare the Chocolate: Break the milk chocolate into small pieces and place them in a heatproof bowl.
- Melt the Chocolate: In a saucepan, heat water over low heat until it simmers. Place the chocolate bowl over the saucepan, ensuring it doesn’t touch the water. Stir occasionally until melted and smooth.
- Add the Condensed Milk: Pour condensed milk into the melted chocolate and stir until well combined.
- Add the Baileys: Gradually add Baileys Irish Cream, stirring continuously. Adjust the amount to taste, starting with 1 shot glass and adding more if desired.
- Incorporate the Vanilla Essence: Stir in the vanilla essence to enhance the fudge’s flavor.
- Prepare the Maltesers: Place Maltesers in a ziplock bag and gently crush them into smaller pieces using a rolling pin or the back of a spoon.
- Fold in the Maltesers: Add the crushed Maltesers to the chocolate mixture and gently fold them until evenly distributed.
- Transfer to a Pan: Line a square baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the fudge mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Chill: Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill the fudge for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Slice and Serve: Once set, remove the fudge from the pan and cut it into small squares. Serve and enjoy!
