🥩 Easy 3-Ingredient Oven Brisket
📝 Ingredients
| Ingredient | Amount |
|---|---|
| Beef brisket, flat cut | 3½–4 lbs, trimmed of excess fat |
| Condensed French onion soup | 2 cans (10.5 oz each), undiluted |
| Dry onion soup mix | 1 packet (1 oz) |
🍲 Instructions
- Preheat Oven Heat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Prepare Brisket Place brisket fat-side up in a roasting pan or deep 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix Sauce In a bowl, whisk together condensed French onion soup and dry onion soup mix.
- Coat Brisket Pour mixture over the brisket, letting it run down the sides. Spoon any onion bits on top.
- Seal & Bake Cover pan tightly with heavy-duty foil. Bake 3–4 hours, until brisket is fork-tender.
- Rest Remove from oven and let rest, still covered, for 15–20 minutes.
- Slice & Serve Slice brisket across the grain (or pull into chunks if very tender). Return slices to the pan and spoon onion gravy over the top.
🌟 Notes
- Resting keeps the meat juicy and easier to slice.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or crusty bread to soak up the gravy.
