🍲 Easy Hamburger Mushroom Bake
Ingredients

| Creamy Base | 1 cup (240 ml) sour cream ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella ½ cup (50 g) shredded cheddar 1 tbsp olive oil or butter |
| Seasonings | 1 tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper ½ tsp paprika ½ tsp dried thyme (optional) ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional, for heat) |
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
- Set oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Cook the Beef
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown ground beef for 5–7 minutes, draining excess fat if needed.
- Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Sauté Vegetables
- Add onion and garlic; cook 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in mushrooms and cook until softened and moisture evaporates (5–7 minutes).
- Add thyme and chili flakes if using.
- Make the Creamy Mixture
- In a bowl, whisk sour cream and heavy cream until smooth.
- Stir in half the mozzarella.
- Assemble the Bake
- Spread beef evenly in the baking dish.
- Layer mushroom mixture over the beef.
- Pour creamy mixture on top.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and cheddar.
- Bake
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
- Rest & Serve
- Let sit for 5–10 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
