Ingredients

Chicken breasts, boneless & skinless 5
Swiss cheese slices (or Pepper Jack, Monterey, etc.) 5
Cream of onion soup 1 can
White wine (or milk substitute) ¼ cup (60 ml)
Stuffing mix (garlic & herb or plain) 1 box
Unsalted butter ¼ cup (50 g)
Salt & pepper To taste

Directions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a casserole dish.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

2. Make Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix cream of onion soup with wine (or milk).
  • Spread a few spoonfuls of the mixture in the bottom of the dish.

3. Assemble Layers

  • Arrange chicken breasts in the dish.
  • Top each with a slice of Swiss cheese.
  • Pour remaining soup mixture evenly over the chicken and cheese.

4. Add Stuffing

  • Sprinkle stuffing mix over the top.
  • Drizzle melted butter evenly across stuffing.

5. Bake

  • Cover with foil and bake 35 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake 10–15 minutes more, until golden brown and bubbling at the edges.
