Sometimes the best recipes are born out of a craving for something different. After a week of the same routine dinners, I wanted a dish that was playful, indulgent, and guaranteed to make my family’s eyes light up. What came out of the oven was pure comfort food magic: cheesy, savory, golden-brown bombs that quickly became one of our most requested favorites.

Imagine the best parts of a juicy cheeseburger wrapped up in the cozy goodness of garlic bread—melty cheese, seasoned beef, and pillowy biscuit dough brushed with garlicky butter and Parmesan. They’re pull-apart perfection, ideal for game nights, parties, or simply a cozy Friday evening at home.

The beauty of these Cheeseburger Bombs is their versatility. Stick with the classic beef-and-cheddar combo, or elevate them with caramelized onions, crispy bacon, or a drizzle of special sauce. They’re fun to make with kids, impressive enough for guests, and comforting enough to win over even the pickiest eaters.

And once you bite into that soft, golden roll and hit the gooey, beefy center—you’ll understand why I call them “bombs.” The flavor explosion is real, and stopping at just one? Impossible.

🍔🧄 Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs

🧾 Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Ground beef 1 lb (450 g)
Onion (finely diced) 1 small
Garlic (minced) 2 cloves
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper ½ tsp
Shredded cheddar (or mozzarella/Colby Jack) 1 cup
Refrigerated biscuit dough 1 can (8–12 biscuits)
Unsalted butter (melted) 3 tbsp
Parmesan cheese (grated) 2 tbsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Dried parsley (optional) 1 tsp

🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook Beef Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onion until soft (2–3 minutes). Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in ground beef, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, drain excess fat, and remove from heat.
  3. Add Cheese: Stir shredded cheddar into the warm beef mixture until melted. Let cool slightly.
  4. Assemble Bombs: Flatten each biscuit dough round. Place a spoonful of beef-cheese mixture in the center, then pinch edges together to seal into a ball.
  5. Season Tops: Place seam side down on the baking sheet. Brush with melted butter, then sprinkle with Parmesan, garlic powder, and parsley.
  6. Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Best enjoyed warm with dipping sauces like ranch, ketchup, or garlic aioli.
