‘No oven needed’: Just 3 ingredients. This is my easiest Christmas dessert.

This 3-Ingredient No-Bake Peanut Butter Bar recipe is a holiday lifesaver, especially when oven space is limited. Often called “Reese’s Bars,” these treat squares perfectly balance the salty crunch of peanut butter and graham crackers with a silky chocolate ganache topping.

How To Make 3-Ingredient Christmas Peanut Butter Bars:
Step 1: Prep the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch square pan with aluminum foil. Leave an overhang on the sides to use as “handles” later. Lightly grease the foil with cooking spray or butter.

Step 2: Create the Base: In a medium bowl, stir together 1 cup of the peanut butter and the 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs. Mix until the dough is thick and holds its shape. If it feels too crumbly, add an extra tablespoon of peanut butter.

Step 3: Press into Pan: Transfer the mixture to your lined pan. Use the bottom of a measuring cup or a flat spoon to press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom. Packing it tightly is the secret to a bar that doesn’t fall apart!
Step 4: Melt the Topping: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the 2 cups of chocolate chips and the remaining 1/2 cup of peanut butter. Microwave in 20/30 second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is completely smooth and glossy.
Step 5: Layer and Chill: Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base. Use a spatula to spread it to the very edges. Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the layers to firm up completely.
Step 6: Slice and Serve: Once set, use the foil handles to lift the slab out of the pan. Peel away the foil and use a sharp knife to cut into 12 bars or smaller bite-sized squares. For the cleanest cuts, run your knife under hot water and wipe it dry between slices.
Storage Tip
These bars stay fresh in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. If you like them a bit softer, let them sit at room temperature for about 5/10 minutes before eating.
