Cuppa Cuppa Cake

This incredibly simple, old-fashioned cake gets its name from its basic measurements (a cup of flour, a cup of sugar), creating a moist, self-saucing dessert with fruit cocktail.

Ingredients:

| Unsalted butter, divided | 1/4 cup |
| Self-rising flour | 1 cup |
| Granulated sugar | 1 cup |
| Fruit cocktail in juice, undrained | 1 can (15 oz) |
| Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream | For serving |
How To Make Cuppa Cuppa Cake:
Step 1: Preheat Oven and Prep Dish: Preheat oven to 350F (175C) and generously grease a 9-inch pie dish or cake pan with some of the 1/4 cup butter.

Step 2: Mix Batter: In a large bowl, mix together 1 cup self-rising flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, and 1 can fruit cocktail (with the juices) until just combined.

Step 3: Add Butter and Bake: Transfer batter to the prepared pan. Slice the remaining butter into small pats and place them on top of the batter.1 Bake cake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden in color.
Step 4: Cool and Serve: Allow the cake to cool for a minimum of 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
