How To Make Bacon and Egg Breakfast Casserole:
Step 1: Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 350F (175C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Cook Bacon: In a large skillet, cook the 8 slices of bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and drain on paper towels, then crumble the cooled bacon.

Step 3: Prepare Egg Base: In a large bowl, whisk together the 6 large eggs, 2 cups milk, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
Step 4: Soak Bread: Add the 4 cups of cubed day-old bread to the egg mixture, stirring to coat the bread evenly and allowing it to soak up some liquid.
