1. Soak the Fruit

2. Prepare the Batter

  • Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan or 8-inch round pan with parchment.
  • In one bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt.

3. Add the Fruit Mixture

4. Bake Low & Slow

  • Pour batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 2 to 2½ hours, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  • Store in an airtight container. Every 2–3 days, unwrap and brush with more spirits.
  • Age for 1–4 weeks for best flavor and texture.

🍷 Non-Alcoholic Option: Use apple juice or strong tea. Consume within 5–7 days, as it won’t preserve as long.
