Butterfinger Balls (No-Bake Candy)
Ingredients:
Ingredient | Quantity |
Creamy peanut butter | 1 1/3 cup |
Salted butter, softened | 1/2 cup |
Vanilla extract | 1 teaspoon |
Powdered sugar | 2 cups |
Butterfinger Bits (plus more for topping, optional) | 1 1/2 cups |
Chocolate melting wafers | 3 cups |
How To Make Butterfinger Balls:
- Step 1: Cream Ingredients: Add the peanut butter, 1/2 cup softened butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to a large bowl or stand mixer and cream together for about 30 seconds.
- Step 2: Add Sugar and Bits: Sift the powdered sugar into the bowl and beat until the mixture is smooth. Mix in the 1 1/2 cups Butterfinger Bits until just incorporated.
- Step 3: Chill: Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Step 4: Shape and Freeze: Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Portion the peanut butter mixture out with a medium cookie scoop and roll it into balls. Place them on the cookie sheet and chill in the freezer for 20 to 30 minutes to firm up.
- Step 5: Melt Chocolate: Just before removing the balls from the freezer, melt the chocolate melting wafers in a wide glass or microwave-safe bowl on 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Step 6: Dip and Coat: Use a fork or dipping tool to dip each ball entirely into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess chocolate to drip off. Place them back on the parchment paper.
- Step 7: Finish and Set: Sprinkle the tops of the balls with extra Butterfinger Bits (optional). Allow them to set at room temperature or chill until the chocolate has completely hardened.
