- Step 1: Preheat Oven and Prep: Preheat oven to . Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: Make Salted Caramel Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the granulated sugar, stirring constantly until it liquefies and turns an amber color. Carefully add the cubed butter and stir until it is completely incorporated. Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously (the mixture will bubble vigorously). Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in the 1/2 teaspoon sea salt and vanilla extract.
