👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the meat
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess fat. - Make the sauce
Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes to blend flavors. - Mix the cheeses
In a bowl, combine ricotta, cottage cheese (if using), half the mozzarella, Parmesan, and parsley. - Layer the dip
Spread half the meat sauce into the baking dish. Spoon the cheese mixture evenly over it. - Top it off
Add the remaining meat sauce, then sprinkle with the rest of the mozzarella. - Bake
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown. - Garnish & serve
Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve warm with toasted garlic bread slices for dipping.
This dip is perfect for parties, potlucks, or anytime you want lasagna flavor without the layering and slicing. Want to spice it up? Add crushed red pepper to the sauce or stir in sautéed mushrooms or spinach to the cheese layer.
