Skinny Meatloaf

Ingredients:

For the Meatloaf Quantity
Tenderloin or 96% lean ground beef 1 lb
Whole wheat bread, shredded 1 ½ slices
Vidalia onion, chopped 1 cup
Large egg whites 3
Salt A pinch
Pepper ½ teaspoon
Ketchup 3 tablespoons
Yellow mustard 1 tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon

How To Make Skinny Meatloaf:

  1. Prep Oven & Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Make the Meat Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the 1 lb of ground beef, 1 ½ shredded slices of whole wheat bread, 1 cup of chopped onion, 3 large egg whites, a pinch of salt, and ½ teaspoon of pepper. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the 3 tablespoons of ketchup, 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard, and 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Combine & Form: Pour the mixed sauce ingredients over the ground beef mixture. Using your hands, work the sauce into the meat until it is thoroughly combined. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and transfer it to the prepared loaf pan.
  5. Bake: Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 55 minutes, or until the meatloaf is fully cooked through.
  6. Cool & Serve: Take the meatloaf out of the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Slice into 5 equal pieces and serve.
