My hubby hates salads but he always finishes this one!

This refreshing salad is a perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors. It’s easy to make and perfect for a light lunch, side dish, or potluck.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Crisp apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji), cored and chopped 3 medium
Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
Celery, chopped 1/2 cup
Walnuts or pecans, chopped 1/2 cup
Seedless grapes, halved (optional) 1/2 cup
Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt 1/2 cup
Honey or maple syrup 2 tablespoons
Salt To taste
Freshly ground black pepper To taste
Lettuce leaves (optional) For serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, toss the chopped apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  2. Add the chopped celery and nuts to the apples. If using, add the grape halves and gently mix.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt) and honey (or maple syrup) until well combined.
  4. Fold the dressing into the apple mixture until everything is coated evenly. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  5. Refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
