This Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole is a rich and comforting dish that’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser. The creamy cheese layers combined with the hearty meat sauce and pasta make it a truly decadent meal.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Ground Beef 1 lb
Spaghetti Sauce 1 jar
Cream Cheese 8 oz
Sour Cream ¼ cup
Cottage Cheese ½ lb (1 cup)
Butter ½ cup (1 stick)
Spaghetti (16 oz) 1 pkg
Grated Cheddar Cheese As desired

Instructions:

  1. Preheat and Cook Pasta: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Boil your spaghetti noodles until al dente (firm). Drain and set aside.
  2. Combine Cheese Mixture: Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until well blended.
  3. Brown Beef and Combine with Sauce: Brown the ground beef, and when done, drain well. Combine the ground beef with the spaghetti sauce.
  4. Assemble Casserole – Layer 1: Put a few slices of butter into a 9×13 inch pan. Pour half of the cooked spaghetti noodles on top.
  5. Assemble Casserole – Layer 2: Pour the cream cheese mixture on top of the noodles. Spread well.
  6. Assemble Casserole – Layer 3: Pour the rest of the noodles on top of the cream cheese mixture. Put a few more slices of butter on top of the noodles.
  7. Assemble Casserole – Layer 4: Pour the spaghetti and meat sauce on top of the noodles.
  8. Bake (First Round): Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  9. Add Cheese and Bake (Second Round): After 30 minutes, pour the desired amount of grated cheddar cheese on top and return to the oven for 15 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
  10. Enjoy: Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.
