This hearty Cheesy Amish Beef and Rice Casserole is a comforting and satisfying one-dish meal. The combination of ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, and cheesy goodness makes it a family favorite.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Ground Beef 1 pound
White Rice (uncooked) 1 cup
Beef Broth 2 cups
Cream of Mushroom Soup (10.5 oz can) 1 can
Cheddar Cheese (shredded) 1 cup
Onion (small, chopped) 1
Worcestershire Sauce 1 tablespoon
Salt To taste
Pepper To taste
Olive Oil 1 tablespoon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté Onion and Brown Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Stir Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper into the beef mixture. In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture, uncooked rice, beef broth, and cream of mushroom soup. Mix well.
  4. Bake Covered: Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  5. Top with Cheese and Bake: Remove the foil. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Cool and Serve: Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
