Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Flavoring: Beat in the vanilla extract and optional almond extract.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and cornstarch. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pipe or Shape Cookies:
