Milk (room temperature) 1 liter
Unsweetened Natural Yogurt (starter culture) 200 grams

Instructions:

  1. Heat the Milk:

    • Heat 1 liter of whole milk in a saucepan until it reaches just below boiling.
    • Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. Mix in the Starter:

    • Combine the remaining 1 liter of room temperature milk with the yogurt starter culture.
    • Whisk until smooth.
  3. Combine and Ferment:

    • Pour the yogurt mixture into the cooled milk, stirring gently.
    • Cover the bowl and place it in a warm, draft-free area for 24 hours.
  4. Check and Flavor (Optional):

    • After 24 hours, check the yogurt’s consistency.
    • For flavored yogurt, mix half of the plain yogurt with powdered juice.
  5. Serve and Store:

    • Transfer the yogurt to clean containers.
    • Store in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 weeks.
