Refined sugar For coating

For the Cream Filling:

Corn starch 2 level tbsp
Milk 240ml (1 cup)
Granulated sugar 1/2 cup
Egg yolk 1
Vanilla essence 1 tsp

Instructions:

  1. Fry the Bread Rolls:

    • Heat vegetable oil in a pot or deep fryer over medium-high heat.
    • Fry the mini-milk bread rolls until golden brown, turning occasionally.
    • Drain on paper towels and roll in refined sugar while still warm.
  2. Prepare the Cream Filling:

    • In a saucepan, combine corn starch, milk, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla essence.
    • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened and smooth.
    • Let cool to room temperature.
  3. Fill the Bread Rolls:
