Homemade Chocolate and Milk Ice Cream with Peanuts

This recipe combines the classic flavors of chocolate and milk ice cream with the added crunch of peanuts and chocolate chip cookies. It’s a rich, indulgent dessert that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

Chocolate Milk Base

Milk 300 ml
Vanilla sugar 1 teaspoon
Agar agar 7 g

Whipped Cream

Orange juice 1

Assembly

Chocolate chip cookies 200 g
Chocolate (additional) 100 g
Peanuts, chopped 30 g

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chocolate Milk Base:

    • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave.
    • Heat the milk in a saucepan.
    • Combine the melted chocolate and warm milk, whisking until smooth.
    • Add vanilla sugar and agar agar, and heat over medium heat until the mixture begins to simmer.
    • Let the mixture cool slightly.
  2. Prepare the Whipped Cream:

    • Whip the cream until soft peaks form.
    • Gently fold in the orange juice.
  3. Assemble the Ice Cream:

    • Layer broken cookies and peanuts in a loaf pan or freezer-safe container.
    • Pour half of the chocolate mixture over the cookies and peanuts.
    • Drizzle melted chocolate over the mixture (optional).
    • Repeat the layers of cookies, peanuts, and chocolate mixture.
  4. Freeze and Serve:

    • Freeze the ice cream for at least 4 hours.
    • Let it soften slightly before scooping and serving.
