Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Butter, chilled and grated 12 tablespoons
Boiling water 1/2 cup

Ingredient Quantity
Granulated sugar 1/3 cup
Ground cinnamon 2 teaspoons

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, combine peaches, lemon juice, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, cornstarch, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix well.
  3. Bake the filling: Pour the filling into a 9×13-inch baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.

  6. Add cinnamon sugar: Mix cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle over the top.
  7. Bake: Return the dish to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

Note: To prevent spills, place the baking dish on a baking sheet.
