Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Spaghetti or pasta of choice 300g (10 oz)
Garlic cloves, peeled and smashed 6-8
Butter 2 tbsp
Olive oil 1 tbsp
Heavy cream 1 1/2 cups
Parmesan cheese, grated 1/2 cup
Black pepper, ground 1/4 tsp
Salt To taste
Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (optional)
Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Boil a large pot of salted water.
    • Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions.
    • Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Sauté the Garlic:

    • Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add garlic cloves and sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
  3. Add the Cream:

    • Reduce heat to low.
    • Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine.

    • Thin with reserved pasta water if needed.
