Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Chickpeas (drained and rinsed) 2 cans (15 ounces each)
Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
Smoked Paprika 1 teaspoon
Ground Cumin 1 teaspoon
Cayenne Pepper 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
Garlic Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Black Pepper 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare chickpeas: Drain and rinse chickpeas. Spread on a clean kitchen towel or paper towels and pat dry. Remove any loose skins.
  3. Season chickpeas: Transfer chickpeas to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat. Add smoked paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  4. Roast chickpeas: Spread chickpeas in a single layer on prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are not overlapping. Roast in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Cool: Remove from oven and let chickpeas cool on baking sheet. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
