Granulated Sugar 1 tablespoon
Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
Baking Soda 1/2 teaspoon
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Black Pepper 1/2 teaspoon
Dried Thyme 1 teaspoon
Dried Rosemary 1 teaspoon
Dried Oregano 1 teaspoon
Garlic Powder 1/4 teaspoon
Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese 1 1/4 cups
Buttermilk 1 cup
Unsalted Butter (melted) 1/4 cup
Large Eggs 2

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, black pepper, dried herbs, and garlic powder. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: Whisk together buttermilk, melted butter, and eggs.
  4. Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients: Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Bake: Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Cool: Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
